We also caught THOMAS & MOORE recently at Canterbury Leagues Club; these guys still ‘have it’ in abundance.
There are few acts remaining that do ‘slapstick’ style comedy well and these two are the masters.
There’s the old axiom that ‘everything old is new again’ and it would seem true because the day we saw Brett and Roland work they had the audience in the palm of their hand.
This included some younger audience members who had clearly never seen anything like this style of entertainment before.
During the break one of these youngsters was overheard saying “those two guys should be on ROVE”. We agree. It certainly would be an improvement on some of the so called comedy based performers we see on our TV screens.
Their timing is impeccable; the sort of rapport that only comes from years of working together.
